Nemesis is the best encounter in Returnal and a fun challenge that breathes life into the game. This encounter is genuinely remarkable from start to finish and deserves every bit of praise that comes its way. The arena starts breaking apart, and players will then have to climb their way back to Nemesis with series of grappling points and hope. The first phase of this encounter is quite normal, but past that point is when things get crazy. This battle will require the player's utmost focus and concentration and has an incredible twist that is awe-striking. In what can get best described as pure chaos, the encounter with Nemesis is the most challenging fight in Returnal and the most bizarrely fascinating one. That's not to say that everything else is terrible it's just that Nemesis is that good. This fight is no joke and easily the best one in Returnal, and nothing quite reaches its highs before or after it. Hosted by 44 Bytes.Located in Returnal's third biome, on top of the Derelict Citadel, Nemesis is ready to unleash complete devastation on anyone who dares challenges it. © 2022 Hookshot Media, partner of ReedPop. Once you've found all six Sunface Fragments, you can see the full piece back together in the Databank: Now its time to fight Ophion, the final boss of Returnal. The Sunface Fragments in our play-through tended to be located in areas reachable with the blue orbs you shoot to reveal hidden platforms. Again, you just need to be thorough and look in every room. Returnal Typical Ending Explained The road to both endings of the game cross in the final boss of Act 2, Ophion. In other words, they are guaranteed to be on the map somewhere. From our experience, once the game sends you on this Sunface Fragment quest, it seems to spawn the collectables in every instance of the map until you find them. That means you should open every optional side room and fully explore every area. All you have to do is search each map thoroughly. You want to collect all permanent upgrades and beat the game. During Act 2 (Biomes 4-6) you can continue with House events. That’s probably why you didn’t ask and they did. I wouldnt wanna take that accomplishment from me and get spoonfed the solution, especially in a game like returnal. We went through the biomes in order, starting in Overgrown Ruins and finishing in Abyssal Scar. After each boss you can return (Biome 1 has 3 scenes, one after finding the key, 1 after first boss, and one after 2nd boss visit Biome 1 after those points or you can do it later) to first Biome and finish all the scenes. yeah but you are asking for a solution to beat the final boss in a game after only dying once. While we can't tell you precisely where you will find the Sunface Fragments, we can tell you from experience that they aren't too tricky to locate. Use the strange device inside Helios to move between biomes 1-3 and 4-6 in order to locate the Sunface Fragments in each biome. The trouble is, the game's randomly generated maps mean the Sunface Fragments can show up almost anywhere. So, where are they? There is one Sunface Fragment in each biome, meaning you need to revisit each area of Returnal to find them. If you find all six Sunface Fragments, you will be able to go inside the House once more. Based on trophy data, 33 of players have defeated Old King Allant that’s nearly 12 percentage points more than with Returnal’s final boss completion rate. What the game is hinting at is there are now 6 Sunface Fragments to be collected. While Old King Allant is technically the penultimate boss in Demon’s Souls, he is essentially the game’s final boss given that the actual final boss is a pushover and not much of a fight. A Xenoglyph nearby mentions something about Overgrown Ruins, and Selene says something about a sun. Upon finding the House, you will notice it won't let you inside. In Act 3 of Returnal (after you roll the credits the first time), you will be able to visit all six biomes once again. Contents 1 Attacks 1.1 Phase 1 1.2 Phase 2 1.
